From The East

Brethren,

I would like to thank each of you for placing your faith in me as Worshipful Master of Amazon Lodge No.4 for the year 2015. I have spoken with both the Senior and Junior Wardens as well as the rest of the officers and Past Masters in an effort to get our visions aligned and pointed in the same direction.  I look forward to the upcoming year, to celebrate our accomplishments as well as to tackle any and all obstacles together. With all of your support, the sky is the limit to what can be accomplished. We may be young in age but we are steadfast in our resolve to lead this lodge.

I have set two goals for the upcoming year:

1) To look deep within ourselves and become a more Charitable organization.  As the centerpiece of this administration, I want to begin working in conjunction with credible organizations within and around our community to give of our time, talents, and abilities to others that are in need. We will also continue to “Let Our Light Shine" by looking after and assisting the widows of the Brethren that have been called to join the Grand Architect in the Celestial Lodge as well as visit our Brethren that are ill on a regular basis.

2) To continue and improve Masonic Education and stress its importance in the Lodge and among the Craft as previous Masters of this Lodge have done. In the past year, we have Initiated, Passed, and Raised several new brothers to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason. It is not only our responsibility but our duty to nurture and fill their minds with the knowledge they crave. Without having knowledgeable Masonic Brethren in Amazon No. 4, the history of this Lodge as well as the Craft will be lost.

In closing, I am confident that we can accomplish these tasks, to give of ourselves cheerfully, and improve ourselves fraternally.  In tradition of the Masters who have come before me, I will do my utmost to build upon the foundation they have laid. I am convinced we will have a very productive year and look forward to giving and receiving good and wholesome instructions.

Fraternally,

Bryan K. Rogers Sr.

Worshipful Master
